Suzanne Lewis (Willett), 69

Suzanne Lewis (Willett), 69, died March 5, 2022, at her home in New Bern, North Carolina. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Suzanne was born May 30, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, to Aaron and Joyce Willett. She spent most of her life in Mt. Morris, MI, until she retired and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2017, she visited New Bern for the first time and immediately fell in love with the town and its people. In the summer of 2018, she moved to New Bern to be closer to her daughter and the ocean.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and taking her dogs, Merry and Lily, for walks along the waterfront around downtown New Bern.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Davida Keith, her son-in-law, Michael Keith, and her sisters, Camille Willett, Sheila Ognjanovac, and Stephanie Willett.

Suzanne is preceded in death by her father, Aaron, her mother, Joyce, and her brother, Dwaine.

A memorial service will be held at Two Rivers Church in New Bern on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 12:00pm.
