Robert Leon Ransom

Robert Leon Ransom, 51, of Jacksonville, NC, passed away on September 29th, 2021. He was born on October 7, 1969 at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington, NC to Susan and Jerry Ransom.

Robert enjoyed big game hunting and off-shore fishing trips with friends and family. His passion was working on cars at the body shop and doing construction work. He was very proficient in those areas of work. He had hopes of starting his own business one day soon. He was a very gifted and talented man who could do a little bit of anything he set his mind to. Robert will be missed dearly by family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Regina Ransom of Jacksonville, NC; mother, Susan Ransom of Winterville, NC; sisters, Lynda Frye and husband Tom Giles of Benton City, Washington and Lisa Frye of Yucaipa, CA; brother, Sean Esbjorn-Hargens and wife Vipassana of North Yarmouth, Maine and Alex Marsh and wife Trisha of Washington, DC.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Ransom.

The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday October 9, 2021 at Union Chapel Christian Church, 147 Union Chapel Church Road, Richlands, NC.
