Robert Allen Wheeler Jr.

Robert Allen Wheeler Jr, 39, born October 19, 1983, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023.

Robert was the proud father to 3 amazing children, whom he loved dearly. He loved being outdoors exploring this beautiful world, and fully taking in every experience this life had to offer him.

He is survived by his mother, Angela (Cannoy) Smith and stepfather, James Smith of Mosheim, TN; maternal grandfather, Charles Cannoy of Conowingo, MD; daughter, Kendall Lynn Wheeler of Colora, MD; son, Robert Allen Wheeler III of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Mark Wheeler of Chuckey, TN, Tyler Sweat of Mohawk, TN, Andrew Sweat of New Bern, NC, Bobby Smith of Mosheim, TN; sister, Aimee Wheeler from PA; brother, Brandin Wheeler of PA; stepsisters, Bethany Smith of Drumore, PA and Tiffany Smith of Mosheim, TN; nieces, Lily Sweat of Mohawk, TN, Hannah Roop of Greeneville, TN and Delkota Baker of Mosheim, TN; nephews, Logan Bard of Drumore, PA and Collin Smith of Drumore, PA; stepfather, Randy Sweat, of New Bern, NC; special friend, Doug Emerson from VA, girlfriend, Jessica Morones from CA, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Cannoy, his infant son, Declan Wheeler, his father, Robert Wheeler, his cousins, Brian and Hannah Bibey, his paternal grandparents, Bill and Elaine Wheeler and his stepsister, Winona Smith.

Funeral services will be held at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church in Bulls Gap, TN on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with the Reverend Allen Payne and Robert’s grandfather, Charles Cannoy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with his uncle, Reverend Jim Roland officiating. His 4 brothers, Mark, Tyler, Andrew and Bobby will be honorary pallbearers.
