Peggie Ann Jackson

Peggie Ann Jackson left this life holding our Lord Jesus' Hand to enter Heaven on Thursday, March 9, 2023, while at her home at The Landings of Swansboro, NC.
She was born to her parents, Preston and Peggie Jackson, in Fayetteville, NC on November 17, 1952. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church in Fayetteville for 68 years. She had a strong faith in God and loved attending bible study at The Landings. She shared her faith in God with the many people in her life.
Peggie worked since she was 16 years old and was a Walmart Associate in Fayetteville, NC for 23 years, before her retirement in 2015. She loved living at her childhood home, but she wanted to be more independent, so when The Landings of Swansboro Assisted Living opened in 2021, she wanted to live there. She moved in August 2021 and truly embraced her new life.
She leaves behind memories of hours of fun doing crafts, playing games, singing, dancing, chair exercising and going on outings with her many friends there. She especially loved creating diamond art pictures and gave away her creations, after framing, to those she loved. She had a kind word to share, a smile and a hug and prayed for those she knew that needed prayers and comfort.
Peggie will be forever missed and remembered with love by her brothers...Preston D. Jackson Jr. of Jacksonville and John David Jackson (Gail) of Fayetteville. Her sisters...Sarah Jackson Thomas of Roanoke Rapids, Carol Jackson Hunt of Cordova, Maryland and Norma Jackson Morton (David) of Maysville.
Aunt Peggie will be remembered also, with much love, by her many nephews and nieces. She loved everyone at The Landings and considered them family.
Peggie was met in glory by her parents, Preston D. Jackson Sr. and Peggie Jackson and sister, Emily Jackson Borland.
