Patricia Hodges Chance (March 25, 1949 - June 9, 2022)

Patricia Hodges Chance passed away peacefully on the evening of June 9, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Patti was known for her humor, kindness, and love of animals, especially dogs and horses. She was also a gifted craftsperson and photographer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Estelle Hodges; father, George Hodges; brother, Bradford Hodges; brother-in-law, James Rowe; and her husband, Walter Chance. She is survived by her aunt, Becky Dixon; aunt, Betty Bullock; sister, Harriett Rowe; sister-in-law, Diane Hodges; daughter, Melissa and son-in-law Chris Watson; daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law Adam Spencer; and grandchildren, Nicolas Day; Parker Watson; and Abigail and Patrick Spencer; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A service of Remembrance and Hope will be held at 3 pm on June 18, 2022, at Bethany Christian Church, Arapahoe, NC, with Chris Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at 2 pm in the church fellowship hall.
