Nadine Williams Minor

November 14, 1940 - May 2, 2023

Nadine Williams Minor passed away peacefully in her sleep, early in the morning on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023. A lifelong resident of Richlands, NC, Nadine was known for her love of gardening and canning and preserving her fruits and vegetables. She was a fantastic cook, and she took no greater pride than hosting Sunday dinners after church for as long as she was able. In her last few years, she moved to Winston Salem, NC to be closer to her young grandchildren and where she was lovingly cared for by the fine staff at Brookridge Retirement Community.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Pennie Williams; her husband, Mitford Minor, Jr; two sisters, Rovine Anderson and Evelyn Morton; and two brothers, Bob Williams and Ervin Williams. She is survived by her two daughters, Zona Manning (Steven) of Richlands, NC and Jennifer Kiser of Winston Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Steven Manning of Richlands, NC, and Vivian and Virginia Kiser of Winston Salem, NC; three sisters, Josephine Allen, Diane Martinez, and Lisa Edwards; and four brothers, Andy Williams, Rob Williams, Joseph (Vonnie) Williams, and Michael Williams.

Nadine was known for her abilities in the kitchen, as well as being a fantastic homemaker and seamstress, and she took great care and pride in all her work. She was opinionated, but kind, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

A graveside service will be held at Onslow Memorial Park on Friday, May 5th, at 1:00pm.
