October 14, 1927 ~ April 27, 2022

Our mother went from the arms of the ones who loved her the most on earth to the arms of our heavenly father. She will be missed but her strife is o’er.

The ones that have gone on before her are her parents, William Ransom Benton and Sarah Gertrude Register Benton as well as her husbands, William Thomas Moore, Richard Moore, Roland White, two grandsons, Michael Mills, Jr. and Brian Moore as well as seven of her siblings, James Benton, Lynwood Benton, Raymond Benton, Jack Benton, Frank Benton, Marguerite English and Connie DeLorme.

She is survived by her sister, Jessie Parrish and her beloved children Phyllis Mills (Mike), Audrey Weatherington (Joe), Tommy Moore (Kathy), Jeannie Tyson (Chuck) and Judy Boyd. Also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The family appreciates the professional services and compassion from Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Linda Straub. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity.

Arrangements are private.

She was a member of the Bridgeton United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir so your children send you off with this:

Every hour I need thee

Bless me now my Savior

I come to thee.
