Michael Douglas Hopkins

Michael Douglas Hopkins, departed this life into the waiting arms of Jesus, on March 12, 2023, at the age of 51.

He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée, Karin Cuba Vidal; parents, Richard and Anne Hopkins of Trent Woods; brothers, Mark Hopkins (Teri) of New Bern and Matthew Hopkins (Kari) of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Melissa Potter (Brian) and Melanie Pledger (Kevin) all of New Bern; nephews, Caleb, Andrew, Xzavier, Chance and Kevin; nieces, Niki, Paiton, Alison, Caroline, Xzandria, Lillie, Krystal and Kimberly and his beloved pet, Gunner.

Michael was known for his generosity and love for the Lord. He will be remembered for his love for his family and friends and his church family at Opendoor Church in Winterville, where he attended.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Without Limits Christian Center, 102 Washington Post Road, New Bern, NC. The family will be receiving friends at other times at the Hopkins residence, 3827 Canterbury Road Trent Woods, NC.
