Mary Smith Wood

Mary Smith Wood, 86, of Stella, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2023.

Mary was a faithful, strong-willed, and loving person. She was always supporting her family and loved bragging about her grandchildren. She was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community.

She leaves to cherish her memory many relatives and friends. Her smile and laugh will forever be engrained in their hearts.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Triune Holiness Church, 117 Smith Lane Maysville, NC 28555. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will follow at the Wetherington Cemetery in Stella.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary's memory to Triune Holiness Church, P.O. Box 181 Maysville, NC 28555.
