Keith Nelligan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Warren Nelligan, who was born on February 6, 1966, and passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 57. Keith was diagnosed on January 30, 2023, with Stage 4 liver and lung cancer. He passed away at home after a brief but courageous battle.

Keith was a loving husband to Nancy Nelligan and a devoted father to Keith Nelligan of Hubert, NC, William Nelligan, Amanda Nelligan, and Nicholas Nelligan, all of Titusville, FL. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Keith was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Don Nelligan, and brother William Sr., Surviving are his Sister-in-law Joan, of Hubert, NC; his brother Donald Sr. and his wife, Ann of Hubert, NC; his brother George of Hubert, NC; his sister Deneen Kimmey and her husband, Daniel Kimmey of Walden, NY; his sister Katherine and her husband, Gary of Walden, NY.

Keith loved spending time outdoors and had a particular passion for fishing. He also enjoyed watching scary movies with his kids. Keith was a kind-hearted person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be remembered for his kindness and sense of humor.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice nurses who provided Keith with excellent care and support during his illness.

Keith's passing leaves a void in those who knew and loved him. His family and friends will cherish Keith's memory.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel in Maysville, 308 Main Street Maysville, NC 28555.
