June Williams Wells

June Williams Wells, age 79, a resident of Vanceboro, NC, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Wells was born on March 24, 1942 to the late Chester A. Williams, and Dorothy M. Williams. Mrs. Wells was employed by National Spinning Corp and Washington Daily News but had long since retired.

Survivors include her brother, Richard A Williams and Judy of Vanceboro; two sons, Tim Ivey Wells, Jr. and wife Jeanette, Patrick Lee Wells and wife Sheila, both of Vanceboro; nine grandchildren, James Wells and wife Ashley of Maple Hill NC, Jonathan Wells and wife Heather of Robersonville NC, Andrew Wells and wife Jendy of Hartsville SC, Matthew Wells and wife Amy of Vanceboro, Christopher Wells and Heather of Grifton NC, Jessica Albro and husband Carl of Saginaw, MI, Ashley Godley and husband Chris of Chocowinity, Courtney Wells and Jeff of Saint Cloud, FL, Melanie Ross of Vanceboro, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Tim I Wells Sr.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Craven County Hospice, Craven County Health Department Foundation, PO Drawer 12610, New Bern NC, 28561 in memory of June W Wells.
