James Eugene Belland

October 12, 1938 – August 18, 2021

James (Jim) Belland, formally of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away in his home in North Carolina with his family at his side on August 18, 2021. James was born in Green Bay and was a life-long Packers fan. In his earlier years he worked at Lambeau Stadium and enjoyed getting to know the players, shooting pool, and playing cards with them. His adventurous spirit made him a wonderful storyteller. After retiring from property management, Jim and his wife fostered many children and enjoyed being part of shaping their lives. He also enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Elaine Belland, brothers, Tom and John Belland, and grandson, Tyler Buell.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 33 years, Carol M. Simonsmeier Belland, children, Rick Belland, Christina Belland Harvey, Cynthia Belland Betker, Matthew Belland (adopted), step-children, April Deese (Larry), Alison Wallace (Don), Allen Laack, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Bob Belland (Barb) and close, personal family friend, Abby Tredinnick.

A service will be held at Greenbush, Wisconsin Cemetery at a later date.
