Glenda Mae Evans went home to be with Jesus on March 8th, 2023, after spending 74-years on His earth. Glenda was born to Ira and Clara Bell Meadows in Jones County NC, October 31, 1948. She loved cooking for her and her family and adored her many grandchildren.
Glenda was greeted in Heaven by her parents and brothers, Everette, Rodney, Brinson and J.W., and sisters, Evelyn and Inez along with grandsons, Trevor and Greysen.
She is survived by her brother, Mickey and sister, Brancey. Glenda departed from her sons, Robert Jr., Joey, Tony and daughters, Sonya and Melissa. Waiting to see her again are her grandchildren, Tilton, Barkleigh, Baylor, Briggs, Jordan, Michael, Kyle, Kailey, Jasmine, Shana and Canaan. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren Luke, Elliot, Hudson and Silas, along with many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Baptist Church 904 Main Street, Maysville, NC at 12 noon, March 11th, 2023. The family will accept visitors at 11 am at the church proceeding the service. Burial will be held at the Evans Family Cemetery in Maysville following the service.
