Ernestine Wood Moore

Ernestine Wood Moore, 83, of Cove City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2022.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jimmy E. Burkett and wife, Ulli of Winterville; step-son, Eddie Moore and wife, Sherry of Vanceboro; daughter, Cindy McCausley and husband, Jimmy of New Bern; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Wilton Ray Wood of Bristol, TN and sister, Celia Faye Everett of Tarboro.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday March 19, 2022, at Gospel Outreach Independent Baptist Church, Cove City, NC with Pastor Johnny Clark and Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Bryan Family Cemetery.
