Dennis Ray Stox

Dennis Ray Stox passed away at his home in Vanceboro, NC on Sunday,

October 4th at the age of 58.

Dennis is predeceased by his parents, Zeno Stox Jr, Mary Alice Stox and his brother Donnie Lee Stox.

Dennis is lovingly remembered by his loving nephew, Cody Lee Stox, Fiancé Ashley Nicole Sutley, daughter, Chesney Faith Stox of Vanceboro, NC, step-son, Justin Thomas Flowers, and Shae Lynn Flowers of New York and his loving niece, Melissa Leigh Stox, fiancé Will Ham, daughter, Kenleigh Nicole Hawkins and Hunter Allen Ham of Vanceboro, NC.

Dennis was born in Vanceboro, North Carolina in 1962. He graduated from West Craven High School and went on to earn a Bachelors of Science Degree at Mount Olive College, as well as a Doctorate of Ministry from Campbell University. He was a well known farmer in and around the Vanceboro area. He also did ministry work in the prison systems.

Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading his bible, teaching others God’s Word and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the CMA Bayboro Seed Sowers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made be made to Kahlert Funerals to assist with final expenses.
