Loving family man, friend, husband……..

The toughest, gentle, kind hearted, person. He didn’t know a stranger. I truly believe if asked, Nono you would have a harsh word to say about him. He is the best of the best. He loved his wife to the fullest. He is an outstanding dad. He is his son’s superhero. To his brothers he is their role model. He loved working for a living especially driving a dump truck. He loved trips to the mountains of North Carolina. He loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with family. Many have said he is a great friend.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Jason Southard and wife, Melissa, and Christopher Southard and wife, Vonetta; grandchildren, Christian, Eric, Isiah, Taylor, Ryan, Courtney, Matthew, Michael, Jackie and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Christian Jr., Roman Isiah, Noah, Zachary, Mason, Richie, Sophia, Secilia and Luca; and brother, Ronnie Southard.

A Celebration of Delton's Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday August 27, 2022 at Kahlert Funeral Chapel.
