Curtis Wayne Bolton

Curtis Wayne Bolton, Sr., 73, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Wayne leaves behind his wife, Melba; son, Curtis Wayne Bolton, Jr. (Natasha) of SC; daughter, Tammy Morris (Joey) of SC; step-sons, Tony Banks (Danielle), Bradly Banks (Allyson) of New Bern; grandchildren, Kurtis Jones, Marisa Pate, Daniel England of South Carolina, Avery Banks of New Bern; great-grands, Alley, Luke Wayne, Athena of SC; brother, Dennis Bishop of SC; sisters, Dorthy Jumper (Billy), Maxine Flynn of SC; sister-in-laws, Libby Dunford and Cathy Bolton all of South Carolina and Norma Vick (Tim) of NC; father-in-law, James Avery of NC.

Wayne was preceded in death by brothers, Rev. Bo Dunford, Eugene Bolton and sister, Irean Blackwell of SC.

Wayne was a member of Spring Hope Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Winterville Machine Works after 35 years of employment.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 7th, 11:00 am, at Spring Hope Free Will Baptist Church of New Bern, NC.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martina with Craven County Hospice.

The family will be receiving friends at the home.
