Carol M. Anderson

Carol M. Anderson was born on August 28, 1943, in Carteret County, North Carolina to Rowland and Magdaline Wetherington Morton. Carol entered into Heaven’s Gates on September 8, 2022.

Carol was very talented and well known for her gifts in hospitality and her mastery of cooking. Everyone who met Carol loved her humorous and outgoing personality. She had a beautiful smile and a very sweet disposition. She surrounded her family with family gatherings with abundant and generous servings. Family was number one to Carol. She loved Jesus, and George Jones and was very patriotic. She was a complete joy to be around.

Carol was preceded in death by her father Rowland Morton, mother, Magdaline Morton and sister, Dorothy Martine and her beloved daughter, Debrorah Webb Stover.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Betty Lou Melville and her husband, Gary; her brother, Harold Morton; son, Keith Webb; daughter, Sandy Bray; son, Danny Taylor and his wife, Leslie Taylor; grandchildren, Amanda and Alicia Webb, David and Sabrina Stover, Timmy Jones, Glenn, Morgan and Marley Commer; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Acacia, Sophia, Elijah and Mazie.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Wetherington Family Cemetery in Stella.
