Bryan Lee

Bryan Lee, 55, of Comfort, NC went home to be with his heavenly Father March 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Bryan was a loving father, husband, Papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed baseball, softball, hunting, fishing, and bow shooting. He will be remembered for his talent in carpentry and woodworking, leaving behind a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship. He had a beautiful relationship with his Savior and shared his love of the Lord through his music and by sharing the Word of God.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 25 years, Audrey Lee; daughter, Kristina Owens (Tyler) of Comfort; stepsons, Eric Philyaw (Sierra) of Comfort and Matthew Philyaw (Lety) of Jacksonville; mother, Mavis Lee of Charlotte; sister, Susan Nelson of Charlotte; brother, Ronnie Lee (Kathie) of Bolivia; mother-in-law, Iola Taylor (Ken) of Kinston; brother-in-law, Clifton Jones (Tracy) of Trenton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dalton Lee, grandmother, Alvirada “Nannie” Lee, and grandmother, Alma “Granny” Coley, all of New Bern.

A celebration of Bryan’s life will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Agape Family Church, 1743 NC-41, Trenton, NC. Interment will follow the service at the Jones-Lee-Philyaw Cemetery in Trenton, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kahlert Funeral and Cremations in Maysville.
