Brenda Joyce Dickerson Russell

Brenda Joyce Dickerson Russell, 79, of Cove City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday February 28, 2022.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Patricia R. Harrell of Cove City, Dorothy L. Russell of Grifton and Lori L. Ipock of Cove City; grandchildren, David Flowers, Kelly Davis, Jessie Pendleton and wife, Katrina, Kenny Pittman and Jennifer Griffin; great-grandchildren, Tabitha Harrison, Noah Harrison, Nicholas Davis, Courtney Davis, Jordan Nobles and Nathan Griffin; one great-great-grandson, Jeremiah Tazewell; sisters, Sylvia Williams of Vanceboro, Jennie Jones of Pennsylvania and brother, Keith Mitchell of Pamlico County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Kinsey (JK) Russell, and her parents, Leslie and Exidell Dickerson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday March 3, 2022, at Fort Barnwell Baptist Church Cemetery, 9335 NC Highway 55 W, Dover, NC 28526.
