Barbara Yearwood Thomas Eubanks

Barbara Yearwood Thomas Eubanks, 80, of Pollocksville, passed away on October 13, 2022, at Brookstone Living Center.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, James (Jimmy) Thomas and Rayford Eubanks; son, James Thomas, stepson, Jimmy Eubanks, stepdaughter, Denise Thomas; and a sister, Florine Stevens, and brother, Joe Yearwood.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Eddie Ray Thomas of Kinston; daughters, Debbie Eubanks of Maple Hill and Jenny Cook of Pollocksville; stepdaughters, Anna Mercer of Trenton and Marilyn Slade of New Bern; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Wilson of Abbeville, SC, and Ruby Wilson of Augusta, GA.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 12:00 noon on Monday October 17, 2022, at Dogwood Memorial Cemetery in Maysville. Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 noon with Rev. Dennis Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service.

The family is receiving friends at other times at the home of Jenny Cook.
