Angela Lowe

Angela Lowe, 57, of Vanceboro, won her battle of 12 years with breast cancer and gained her angel wings on Thursday, March 16. She was a dedicated substitute teacher and bus driver serving the children of western Craven County for many years. These children were the apple of her eye along with her 4 grandchildren. They kept her going strong. Along with serving the children, she also volunteered with the Vanceboro Rescue Squad. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Barnes, grandmother Evelyn Waters and grandfather John Waters. She is survived by her mother Faye Evans and husband Dan. She is also survived by her Daughters Christina Willis and husband Brian and Stephanie Jones and husband Jonathan, and her 4 grandchildren, Brayden, Reagan, Gunner, and Wesson. She is also survived by her brother Lewis Barnes II and nieces Brandy Bonelli and husband Kyle and Teresa King and husband Vidal. Angela's celebration of life will be Saturday, March 25 at 2 pm at 775 Wardfield Road Vanceboro NC 28586. In honor of Mama please wear vibrant colors!
