    Ronnie V. Meadows Sr.

    April 15, 2019

Ronnie V. Meadows Sr., 69 of Maysville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday April 15, 2019.

Ronnie was born on August 15, 1949 to the late James Alton and Beatrice Meadows. He grew up on the family farm along with his four brothers and three sisters. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. Mornings he would wake up early to go sit and wait. He waited to hear the sound of the hounds running and howling, the leaves crunching below their feet and the excitement of what was to come. During this time, he could enjoy the majesty of God’s creation. Ronnie was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await him in Heaven.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Nancy Meadows of the home; sons, Ronnie Meadows Jr. and wife Wendy and Cleve Meadows and wife Penny both of Maysville; 2 grandchildren, Justin Ault and Logan Meadows; brother, Danny Meadows and wife, Betty of New Bern; sisters, Louise Cox of Moncks Corner, SC, Ellen Davis of Maysville and Janie Maides of Maysville; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronnie's memory will forever be engrained in the hearts of those who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church in Maysville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church.

Private burial will be held at the Meadows Family Cemetery in Maysville.
