John Henry Hough

John Henry Hough, 61, of Jacksonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 23, 2019. John was a man of honor and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps later retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church in Maysville where he served as a Deacon. Although he will be greatly missed his legacy will live on through his greatest joy: his family. His earnest and loving manner will forever be engrained in the hearts of those who knew him.  John leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rhonda Hough; two sons, L.J. Hough of Richlands and Christopher Hough of Richlands; daughter, Cynthia Horvath of Richlands; six brothers, Ronald Hough of Stockbridge, GA, David Hough of Pine Mountain, GA, William Hough of Hampton, GA, George Ernest Hough of Covington, GA, Randall Hough of Flowery Branch, GA and Richard Hough of Suwanee, GA; two sisters, Susan Hough of Marietta, GA and Kathy Lynn Lindsey of Stockbridge, GA; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Ethan, Reaghan Hough, Carolina, Adalia Hough, Lauren and Mason Horvath. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday January 27, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church in Maysville with Pastor Woody Whitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the church. Interment will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund.
