Jimmy Moore, 69, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at his home in Trenton. He was born December 5, 1949. As a teen, he lived with his Uncle Hubert who taught him his skill and love for upholstery. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Agape Family church in Trenton. Jimmy loved his family and enjoyed fishing. Preceded in death by his mother, Christine M. Moody; uncle Hubert D. Sumrell; and sister Mary F. Thompson. Survived by his wife and soulmate, Donna Moore of 43 years; three daughters: Jessica Register and husband Chuck, Crystal Kennedy and husband Berry, and Lindsay Pollard and husband Greg, all of Kinston; one son: Shawn Pierce and wife Mary of Raleigh; sisters: Gwen Stocks and Judy Hill of Kinston; Connie Parks of Goldsboro; brothers: Bobby Moore, Johnny, and Allen Moody all of Kinston; nine grandchildren: Christopher, Laken, Gabi, Cassidy, Hannagan, Makayla, Emma, Magi, and McKenzie; and three great-grandchildren: Christopher, Melody and Rowan. A celebration of life will be held at Agape Family Church in Trenton on Saturday, January 19. Visitation will be held at 1pm with memorial services at 2pm.
