Rindy Jay Welling

Rindy Jay Welling, 56, of New Bern, went to his Heavenly home on Friday, December 28. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dorothy Welling, sister Judy Kirby and brother Tommy Welling. He is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Welling, grandson, Malakai Jones, girlfriend, Susan McNeely, brothers Douglas Welling (Tammy), Gary Welling (Linda), sisters Bonnie Parker and Donna Ferguson and numerous nieces and nephews. Rindy was a drywaller by trade but avid hunter by heart. Rindy’s two main passions were family and deer hunting. He was a quiet man with a very huge heart who would quietly help anyone who needed it. His grandson was his heart and we know Rindy will continue to live through him. A quiet celebration of his life will be held, Sunday, January 13th at 3:00 pm at the hunt club, 600 Hardesty Farm Road, Newport, NC (look for the deer balloons).
