William Ray Carawan Sr. "Billy"

William Ray Carawan Sr., "Billy", 74 of New Bern, passed away on September 16, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, William Ray Carawan Jr. of New Bern and Floyd Paul Carawan of New Bern; daughter, Bronwyn Michelle Poe of Cherry Point; sister, Juanita Taylor of Cape Carteret and 5 grandchildren.

Billy worked and later retired as a housepainter and will be remembered for being an Elvis Impersonator.

A Celebration of Billy's Life will be held at a later date.
