Timothy Nelson Semones

Timothy Nelson Semones, 57, of New Bern, NC entered into his Heavenly home on July 16, 2018. He was proceeded in death by his parents, James Nelson and Lula Bell Semones, his grandparents, William Emory and Fredith Price Hooven and Walter A. and Leota Surratt Semones, his sister, Sherrie Lynn Semones and niece, Sherri Nicole Haynes. Surviving are his son, Timothy Matthew Semones, his daughters, Rebeckah Alyceson Semones and Laura Elizabeth Haskin, two grandchildren, Cameron and Serenity, his sister, Sandra Gail Lee and husband, Dennis Lee, his brother, John Trenton Semones and wife Ann Whaley Semones, his nephews, Dennis and Douglas Lee, his nieces, Victoria, Isabella, Elizabeth and Gabriella Semones, and his great nephews, Trace and Dawson Lee and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tim’s life here on earth was troubled, but Tim loved the Lord and his faith was strong. He enjoyed reading his Bible and telling people of how God saw him through more times than not. Tim loved his children, for they were what he was most proud of.

Anyone that knew Tim knew that he enjoyed flea-markets, yard sales, and making deals. His love for life is probably one of the only things he wouldn’t try to trade you. He was a people person and knew no stranger.

Tim was a simple man, and enjoyed the small things. When he was able, he loved to fish, ride four wheelers, and ride his bike. He was adventurous, loved to laugh, and his smile was contagious.

Tim was a living testimony of God’s abundant love.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 21, 2018 at Kahlert Funeral Chapel in Maysville, NC. Burial will follow in the Trenton City Cemetery. Rev. Steve Mercer will be officiating.
