Jesse Lee Simpkins Jr., 54 of Maysville, departed this life on July 7, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Debbie Simpkins of Maysville; son, Jesse Lee "Trey" Simpkins III of the home; daughters, Crystina Brown of Maysville and Amanda Simpkins of New Bern; father, Jesse Lee Simpkins of Mardela Springs, MD; mother, Brenda Paulette Holt of New Bern; brothers, Mickey Simpkins of Rocky Mount, Travis Holt of New Bern, Dallas Simpkins of Salisbury, MD; sisters, Brenda Webb of Rocky Mount and Sandy Quinonez of New Bern; 5 grandchildren, Madison Brown, Kyle Brown, Jordan Brown, Madaline Brown and Camron Huffstetler.

A Celebration of Jesse's Life will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at White Oak Community Church in Maysville with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will follow the service at the White Oak Community Church Cemetery.
