Marissa Lyn Gonzalez-Yula, 26, of New Bern, departed this life on April 29, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Tracy L. Yula of New Bern; brother, Ricardo Arthur Gonzalez of New Bern; sister, Angelina Maria Gonzalez of Bridgeton; maternal grandparents, Thomas & Beatrice Rubsam; maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Pallan; uncles, Louis Rubsam, Robert Pallan and Edward Pallan; great aunt and uncle, Margaret & Vincent Kenneally and many cousins and other family members.

A Celebration of Marissa's Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to assist with expenses.
