Furney Milton Eubanks

Furney Milton Eubanks, 91, of Trenton,NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday , May 1 ,2018, at Croatan Assisted Living in New Bern, NC.

Furney was born February 12, 1927, to the late Isaac and Sallie Eubanks of Trenton. Furney was a WWII veteran, a farmer, a business owner for over 40 years, and an entrepreneur. As an inventor, he held multiple patents with the US Patent Office. More importantly, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

His service will be held at the Jones County Civic Center, 832 NC Hwy. 58, Trenton NC, at 7:00 pm on Friday May 4th, preceded by a time of visitation from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm.

Burial will take place Saturday, May 5th at 11:00 am at the Trenton Cemetery in Trenton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Francis Koonce, and his brothers Gordon and Bill Eubanks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mae Wells Eubanks; his three children; Jacky Eubanks and wife Patricia of Conover, Joan Phillips and husband Pate of Swansboro, and Randy Eubanks and wife Angela of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; Mark Eubanks, Christen Kallam and husband Terry, Ashton Creech and wife Jamie, Jordan Eubanks, Matt Phillips and wife Terri, Brandy Eubanks, Amanda Hodges and husband Shannon, and Randall Eubanks. Great grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Kallam, Ashlynn Creech, Payton and Lawson Blevins, Kirby Phillips, Savanah and Dylan Trott, and a sister Mildred Haskins.
