Marianne Margaret Schmitt

Marianne Margaret Schmitt, 63, of Swansboro, departed this life on March 7, 2018 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

She is survived by her husband, John Schmitt II; son, Damien Carrell of Arlington, VA; step-sons, Michael Schmitt of Tyler, Texas and John Schmitt III of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Janice Phillips of Tyler, Texas; sisters, Patricia Phipps of Crownsville, MD and Linda O’Brien of Oakland, MD; and many step-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday March 16, 2018 at Kahlert Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Pollocksville City Cemetery.
