Betty Maready Swinson

Betty Maready Swinson, 79, of Maysville, went home with the Lord on February 24, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Timothy McDaniels and wife, Sarah, William Kenny Hudson and wife, Renee, David Danny Hudson and Richard K. Byrd and wife, Sandra; daughter, Deborah B. King and husband, Rodney; four grandsons, William Bradley Hudson, Kenneth Ray Kennedy, Timothy Lou Vaughn Jr., and Steven Lee Vaughn; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Vaughn; great-grandsons, Caden, Wesley, Jordan, Mason, Tyler, Spencer, Mason, Nathan, Meadows, Dusty, Mason and Stephen; great-granddaughters, Kenly, Esley, Riley, Alexis, Missy, Heather, Jessica, Kim, and Ashley; brother, Ernest Ray Maready of Georgia.

She is predeceased by her late husband, Elvin Swinson; father, Charlie Blane Maready; mother, Myrtie Williford Maready; brothers, Roland, Durwood, Charles and Junior; and sister, Marie Maready Vaughn.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her son, Richard Byrd, 344 Cedar Fork Road Beulaville, North Carolina (close to Mike’s Tree Farm in Beulaville, NC).

The family requests that any flowers be delivered to Kahlert Funerals & Cremations.

A Going Home Celebration will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville with Pastor Wesley Houston officiating. Interment will follow the Celebration.
