Elizabeth "Betty" Smith

  Elizabeth “Betty” Smith, 95, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday December 15, 2017.

  Betty was the founder and owner of Milady’s Beauty Salon in Jacksonville and later worked at The Commissary for 20 years.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Gail Butler and husband Tim of Jacksonville; brother, Eugene Mills of Jackson, Georgia; grandchildren, Chris Butler, Shawn Butler, Heather Butler Wells and husband Jason, and Ryan Laurie all of Jacksonville; and the heart of her life, her great-granddaughter Mackenzie Elizabeth Wells.

   Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville.

 The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Kahlert Funeral Chapel in Maysville. 

   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to the Onslow County Animal Shelter, 244 Georgetown Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
