Joyce Maie Carter Bright

Joyce Maie Carter Bright, 67 of Hubert, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday August 28, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Sally Maie Carter, brother, Barry Carter and grandparents, Nellie and Ozzie Carter.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Ernest L. Bright Sr. of Hubert; sons, Ernest Bright Jr., Matt Bright and Ronald Bright all of Hubert; brothers, Ronnie Carter Sr. and Eddie Carter Sr. both of Hubert; sister, Bonnie Carter of Bear Creek; 6 grandchildren, Justin, Jaclyn, Raina, Odin, Isabel and Sara and 2 great-grandchildren, Alexis and Audrey.

Joyce was a loving woman with a huge heart for the Lord, her family and White Oak Community Church where she was a faithful member. Her loving heart and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew her. "Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31:31

A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday August 31, 2017 at White Oak Community Church in Maysville with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the White Oak Community Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday August 31, 2017 at the church.
