Kemp Goodwin Jr., 77, of Maysville, departed this life on July 17, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ann Goodwin of Maysville; daughters, Belinda Joyner of Cary, Cynthia Riggs of Pollocksville, Rebecca Weiss of Sydney, Australia and Gwendolyn Burdine of Jacksonville; brother, Ike Goodwin of Goldsboro; sister, Marion Tredway of Micco, FL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday July 20, 2017 at the Stanly Hall Ballroom in New Bern, 249 Craven Street.
