Michael Harris

Michael Brandon Harris, 31, of New Bern, passed away on October 16, 2016.

He is survived by his son Sky, his fiancé Jenna Cooper, his father Mike W. Harris, his mother and stepfather Paula and Bill Wetherington, his step sister Tracey Lewis along with her children Alana and Noah, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mike was skilled and experienced in a variety of vocations including automotive technology, carpentry, computer technology, and general contracting. He had a big heart, and was always willing to help others, even when it meant going without himself. He loved his family and his Savior. In the past several months, he showed a renewed interest in spiritual matters, and often attended services at The Church at New Bern and Latitude Church. Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice in the fact that he is free from worldly cares, and experiencing the fullness of God’s joy and peace.

An informal celebration of his life will be held Saturday October 22, 2016 at The Church at New Bern on Hwy 70 East at 2:00 PM. Arrangements by Kahlert Funerals & Cremations in Maysville.
