Robert Donald Rogers

Robert Donald Rogers Sr. "Diesel", born on December 7, 1965, earned his wings and took flight to heaven on April 11, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Rogers and brother, John Wayne Rogers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Dorothy Rogers of Hubert; sister, Dottie McNichols of Red Rock, TX; brother, Jack Rogers of Hubert; son and best friend Robert "Duck" Rogers ; daughter, Carolynn Rogers Moore of Hubert; step-daughter, Mandesa Crane of Maysville; 3 grandchildren, Alexander J. Rogers, Heather D. Kautter, and Robert Donald Rogers III all of Jacksonville; 8 nieces, Nicole Vallario of Hubert, Beverly Rogers of Snow Hill, Haley Rogers of Cape Carteret, Diamond Kuhns, Dorothy McNichols, Daphne McNichols, Day Davis, and Darci Davis all of Red Rock, TX; 5 nephews, Robert Rogers and Johnathan Rogers both of Hubert, Bobby Rogers of Jacksonville, Aaron Rogers and Devin Davis of Red Rock,TX; many great-nieces and nephews, and his side-kicks, Gary "Squirrel" Thompson and Vaden "Dough Boy" Beall. The family would like to thank everyone for their calls, texts, and prayers.

A Celebration of Diesel's Life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 188 Doe Drive Hubert, NC 28539.
