Linwood Earl Patterson

Vanceboro, NC - Linwood Earl Patterson, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on February 17, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his father J. B. Patterson and his mother Katie Marie Chandler.

Survivors are his wife, Susie Patterson of the home; his step-son, Jerry Wayne Gaskins and wife Lynn; his step-daughter, Betty Carol Smith. Linwood has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They are Felicia Smith, Maranda (Mandy) Smith, Tiffany Gaskins, Kaitlynn Gaskins and Jerry Wayne Gaskins Jr.; one great-grandson, Elijah Thomas Smith. Linwood is also survived by two sisters, Annette Roberson and husband Dickie Dean and Tammy Robinson and husband Tommy.

Linwood has two four legged children he loved dearly, a dog named Cookie and a cat named Vinny.
