Mary Ethel Conway Carter

Mary Ethel Conway Carter, 59 of Hubert, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2016 surrounded by her family and friends.

She was a member of Crystal Coast Assembly of God, the Church Advisory Board, founder of the Turkey Shoot Ministry, active in the Women's Ministry, One Harvest ministry, in charge of Samaritan Plate, and owned and operated Mary's Kountry Kitchen in Hubert.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her two sons, Barry Carter Jr. and wife Mary, Jason Carter and wife Gail; two brothers, William Conway and Gerald Conway; three granddaughters, Cerenity, Skyler, and Eboni; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Barry Carter Sr. preceded her in passing.

A Celebration of Mary's life will be held at 11 am on Thursday January 28, 2016 at Crystal Coast Assembly of God in Peletier, with Pastor Henry Hardesty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Entombment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro.
