George Ruffin Osborne

George Ruffin Osborne, 98 of Pollocksville, formerly of Wallace, passed away on December 24, 2015.

George served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

His wife, Polly Osborne preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, George Osborne Jr. of Cape Carteret, and Linda Wahnsiedler of New Bern; sister, Lucy Whitley of Riverside, California; grandson, David Osborne and granddaughter, Linda Holland.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 2, 2015 at Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wallace.
