Tonya Raye Maynard Bretz

Tonya Raye Maynard Bretz, 48 of Burgaw, went to be with her Lord on December 22, 2015.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Tonya is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lee Maynard.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jay Bretz of Burgaw; daughters, Gabriel Bretz Osborne and husband David, and Amber Bretz all of Burgaw; mother, Agnes Maynard of Hubert; sister, Bett Whitmore of Hubert; four brothers, Ron Phipps of Faison, Don Phipps of Maco, Earle Phipps of Rocky Point, and Glenn Maynard of Leeland; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Tonya's life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday December 27, 2015 at Kahlert Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm.
