Joe Robert Barnette Sr.

Joe Robert Barnette Sr., 75 of Maysville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday December 17, 2015.

Joe leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Tursee Padgett Barnette; children, Barbara Barnette Sanderson, Joe Barnette Jr., Melissa Barnette Sisney, Kyle Barnette, Erika Paige Barnette, and Ashley Kay Barnette; brothers, Jimmy Barnette and Milton Barnette; sisters, Anne Barnette Brooks and Evelyn Barnette; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Joe was a founding member of Centerview Baptist Church, an Army veteran, business owner, and a man who loved his family and the Lord very much.

Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday December 21, 2015 at Centerview Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Pastor Mike Schwalm officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the church.

Interment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
