Pauline Huffman (Meadows) Riggs

Pauline H. Riggs, of Maysville, went to be with her Lord on Monday November 30, 2015. She was born June 12, 1934 in Trenton, NC to Paul & Bessie Huffman and was the oldest of 5. She is pre-deceased by her parents; brothers, Donald & Paul, Jr. (Bud) Huffman; her first husband, Delbert (Toots) Meadows and son, Delbert W. (Del) Meadows, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Fred (Shorty) Riggs, Greg B. Meadows & Pam, Vicky Johnson & Eric; daughter-in-law, Janet Meadows; step-children, Peggy Mitchell, Dale Riggs, Duane Riggs, and Loretta Mercer; grandchildren, Christy Fisher & Keith, Justin Meadows and Scott Johnson , great-grandsons, Daniel & Joseph Fisher; sister, Pat H. Williams (Kinston) and brother, Rev. Virgil (Butch) Huffman & Ann of Clayton. She is also survived by an extended family too numerous to count.

Pauline was a member of Maysville United Methodist Church and spent most of her life working at First Citizen’s Bank in Maysville and for the Town of Maysville as Secretary. She loved her family, friends and community greatly. Her kindness and friendship will be treasured always. Come to a celebration of her life at Maysville UMC on Thursday December 3, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm where her family would like to visit and share their memories. Funeral services will be held at Maysville UMC on Thursday December 3, 2015 at 2:00pm following the visitation.
