Sylvia Riggs

Sylvia Lucille Heath Riggs, 77 of Maysville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday September 17, 2015.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Maysville and proudly cared for many as a CNA... ''II''.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 8 years Earl Victor Riggs of the home; two sons, Kenneth Harris of Newport and Ray Harris and wife Leana of Jacksonville; two step-sons, four step-daughters; one sister, Evelyn Thigpen of James City; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Her son, Steve B. Harris preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held on Monday September 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Maysville with Pastor John Lewis officiating. A private interment will follow at the Riggs Family Cemetery.

Following the interment, the family will receive friends for a time of food and fellowship at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Maysville. Anyone wishing to provide food for the family is asked to bring it at this time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Sylvia's memory to First Baptist Church 201 Main Street Maysville, NC 28555.
