Lois Arthur Lee

Lois Arthur Lee passed away on July 2 at Croatan Village in New Bern. She was born in Linville, VA on July 13, 1922 to the late Harold and Bessie McMullen Arthur. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, a member of Cherry Point Baptist Church, and worked a number of years in the Havelock school system as a bookkeeper. Her husband of 53 years, Reuel “Swank” Lee preceded her in death. Services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, July 8 at Cherry Point Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Internment will be at a later date in Singers Glen, VA. Survivors include her sons, David S. Lee and wife Lynda of New Bern, Steven A. Lee and wife Ann of Huntsville, AL and daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” Wallace and husband Larry of New Bern; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Croatan Village as well as Lori, Denise and Martina from Craven County Hospice for their extraordinary care.
