Leroy B. Meadows
He was a member of Maysville United Methodist Church, Black Swamp Hunting Club and retired from the U.S. Forest Service in the Croatan District.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Meadows and son, Rodney L. Meadows.
Leroy is survived by two sons, Kelvin Meadows and wife Ann of Maysville, Andy Meadows and wife Donna of New Bern; daughter, Sharon Meadows Lambert and husband Steve of Wendell; daughter-in-law, Wanda S. Meadows of Maysville; two sisters, Christabell Godwin of Stella and Anne Holman of California; 6 grandchildren, Korey Meadows and wife Blair of Liberty, Kyle Meadows of Maysville, Charles Lambert and Daniel Lambert both of Wendell, Hannah Meadows and Madison Meadows of New Bern.
Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday February 22, 2015 at Maysville United Methodist Church with Brother Patrick Keely officiating. Private burial will follow at the Meadows Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Saturday February 21, 2015 at Maysville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maysville United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
