Greta passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at home after a long battle with cancer.

She retired from Staples Warehouse in Montgomery, NY.

The daughter of Everett W. Carr and Thelma M. Carr, she was born on September 23, 1947 in Goshen, NY.

She was the widow of Thomas C. Diller.

A member of the VFW 1161 in Newburgh, NY (Ladies Aux), and an attendee at the Alliance Senior Center.

Greta is survived by three daughters, Tammy Clark and husban Craig of Cooksville, TN, Marie Hochteil and husband Jeff of Arapahoe, NC, and Betty Zauner of Cooksville, TN; two sons, John Zauner Jr. and wife Christine of Pine Bush, NY and Steve Diller of Newburgh, NY; one sister, Diana Hatz of Arizona; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at a Memorial Service located at the Alliance Senior Center, 800 Main Street Alliance, NC 28509 on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Scott Fitzgerald officiating.
