Barry Matt Carter Sr.
He was a member of Crystal Coast Assembly of God, the Church Advisory Board, founder of the Turkey Shoot Ministry, and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Barry is survived by his wife, Mary Ethel Carter of Hubert; two sons, Barry Carter Jr. and Jason Carter both of Hubert; two brothers, Eddie Carter and Ronnie Carter both of Hubert; two sisters, Joyce Bright and Bonnie Carter both of Hubert; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday December 19, 2014 at Crystal Coast Assembly of God in Peletier with Rev. Hardesty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm at the church.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Ronnie Carter.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Crystal Coast Assembly of God, 1367 Hwy 58 Peletier, NC 28584.
