SUSAN SOUTHARD MORTON

12/12/1954 – 11/13/2014

MAY THE ARMS OF JESUS WELCOME YOU HOME

To the world she seemed tough and strong, a single power to be reckoned with. But to know her from the day she was born is to know that she loved her family deeply. People will remember Susan as a hard worker, a determined mother and a devoted grandmother. She loved her parents beyond imagination and would do anything she could for family and friends.

Susan loved her brothers and sister and made sure she was available to talk or help them any time they needed her. Susan will live on through her children, Scottie Morton and Alisha Williams and the 7 grandchildren they blessed her with.

To say goodbye is to say she no longer exists, but that is not true. She will exist through the memories she leaves behind. She will live through the footprint she firmly planted in her children. She will always be alive in the sound of a laugh that makes you turn your head because it sounded just like hers.

This is not goodbye, we will see you again.
